Xiaomi is all set to launch their next smartphone Redmi Note 5A at an event in China on 21st August at 7:30 PM China Time. The company has officially posted a teaser on their Weibo handle. The teaser features the Lin Bin, the CEO of Xiaomi who will unveil the smartphone. It also reveals the date and time when it is going to be unveiled.
So far what we know from past leaks, Redmi Note 5A will feature a 5.5-inch Display along with quad-core 1.4GHz chipset possible Snapdragon 425 SoC. The device will have two variants 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage. The basic variant will feature a 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera. While the high-end model will feature 16MP rear and 13MP front-facing shooter. Under the hood, the device will have a 3000mAh battery to keep the lights on.
The base variant pricing is expected to start at 999 Yuan ($150). The device will come in so many different colors such as Gold, Black, Rose Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Silver, and Grey.
