After launching the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite, it now seems like Xiaomi is gearing towards the launch of another Redmi series smartphone “Redmi 5”.
A rendered image of an alleged Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus device has now appeared on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
From the images, the Redmi 5 Plus seems to be the have a display with 18:9 ratio and will be the first Xiaomi device to feature this display ratio.
The leaked Redmi 5 Plus image also shows a dual camera setup in the rear along with dual-LED flash and fingerprint scanner, all aligned vertically in the center of the device’s rear.
Even though not much is known about the device yet, rumors state that the device will feature the Snapdragon 625 or 630 chipset along with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage.
