After a long series of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally launched their most anticipated smartphone Mi Note 2. Looks like the rumors and leaks were perfect as Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes with a 5.7-inch Dual-Curved OLED Flexible Display with 77.2% screen-to-body ratio . Both front and back panel are covered with 3D curved glass. The chassis is made out of 7-series aluminum frame.
The device is powered by 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor which is 10% faster to start large apps. The device will have two variants depending on RAM and storage; 4GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. The 6GB RAM will help to smoothen up the mobile experience.
Coming to the camera, Mi Note 2 comes with a 22.56MP Rear Camera with a Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and EIS hardware-level for 4K video stabilization. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter with Sony IMX268 Exmor RS sensor and f/2.0 aperture and Beautify 3.0.
Mi Note 2 comes with NFC support and Aqstic audio processor with 192kHz / 24-bit resolution HD audio. Under the hood, the device has a 4070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support for fast charging. One of the highlighted features of this smartphone is, it supports 37 LTE global bands.
Mi Note 2 comes in three variants. The 4GB RAM+64GB ROM model is priced at RMB 2799 ($413) and the 6GB RAM+128GB Chinese variant is priced at RMB 3299 ($487). The Global variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM is priced at RMB 3499 ($516).
