Last week Xiaomi told that they will reveal some important news regarding the upcoming smartphone Mi MIX 2S. Now at the beginning of the week, the company has officially posted a teaser of the Mi MIX 2S on their Weibo handle which hints AI capabilities of the device. The teaser shows a blurry background which suggests the effect is done by Xiaomi’s AI feature.
Just like other competitors, the Camera AI will be able to recognize different scenes, objects and environments such as document, flower, food, sky, sunrise, sunset, green plants, cat, dog, night, sea, snow, autumn, candlelight, car, grass, maple leaves, succulent, building, city, cloud, overcast, and backlight. It will adjust the picture according to the environment or scene.
Coming to the other specs, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is expected to have a 6.01-inch OLED display along with Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 on the top. According to some reports, Xiaomi will use single Sony IMX363 sensor while some suggest it will have dual camera setup and Sony IMX363 will be on of them.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be announced on March 27. Until then there will be more leaks regarding this device. We will keep you updated.
