Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Mix 2, the sequel to the much acclaimed Mi Mix. Another variant of the Mi Mix 2 is now in the works, allegedly named the Mi Mix 2S.
We now have spy shots of the upcoming so-called Mi Mix 2S and from the captured images, the Mi Mix 2S seems to feature a top bezel cutout that resembles the one on the Apple iPhone X.
However, as we have seen with the Essential Phone, Android app developers need to explicitly develop their applications in order to work properly with the display cutout, else the portion just gets blackened out.
Even though the bottom bezel of the device is not visible from the images, the new design should mean that the front-facing camera is moved to the top center position, unlike the bottom corner position on the Mi Mix 2.
