Xiaomi has announced their latest midrange Android One smartphone Mi A2 at an event in Spain. This is the global variant of Mi 6X which was announced in April. Let’s check out the specs of this device.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Specifications
Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 512 GPU. In terms of storage and RAM, Mi A2 comes in three variants: 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB or 64GB storage and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB of storage. Out of the box, Mi A2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Coming to the camera department, Mi A2 sports 12MP+20MP dual rear cameras with f/1.75 aperture, LED Flash. While on the front, the device has a Sony IMX376 20MP shooter with soft LED flash, AI beautification to take care of the selfies.
Mi A2 comes with Dual Nano SIM slots with 4G VoLTE support. The device sports Infrared sensor and also a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. Mi A2 sips its juice from a 3010mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
Xiaomi Mi A2 is priced at €249 for the 4GB RAM+32GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant costs €279 while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at €349. The device comes in Blue, Gold and Black colors. The device will be up for grab from 10th August in Spain and eventually it will roll out in other 40 countries including India.
