Back in December, Xiaomi said that Mi 7 will be announced at MWC 2018. But some new rumors are suggesting that the company has postponed their event and instead they are going to announce Mi Mix 2s. However, the launch of Xiaomi Mi 7 is not too far though as it may happen probably in April or May this year. Mi 7 will compete directly with Samsung Galaxy S9, Nokia 9 or probably iPhone X in terms of performance.
Anyway, we now have a leaked screenshot which reveals most of the key hardware specifications of upcoming smartphone Xiaomi Mi 7. According to the screenshot, the handset will feature Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The display is expected to have a 5.65-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio.
The device is also expected to have 16MP+16MP dual camera setup at the back. Under the hood, it may sport a huge 4480mAh battery. If this happens then it will be a massive upgrade as Xiaomi Mi 6 features 3,350 mAh battery. The screenshot also reveals that the device is running on MIUI 9 version MIUI 8.1.30x, but it will probably launch with the latest stable version of MIUI 9. Some past reports also suggest that Mi 7 will feature face unlock feature.
Anyway, we will know more about this device as more leaks come in. We will keep you updated.
