Well, there was uncertainty about the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi, Mi 5S as the Xiaomi China official commented: “There will be no Mi 5S”. But the real story is different it seems. There will be Mi 5S and as well as Mi 5S Plus.
Yesterday the Co-Founder of Xiaomi Lin Bin posted on social media Weibo using Mi 5S Plus. This is the first proof that the Mi 5S so exist.
Last week a Xiaomi engineer, Zhu Dan posted on Weibo using Mi 5S Plus and that was the first clue about the device then again Lei Jun posted a camera sample of Mi 5S using Mi 5S Plus which clearly confirms that the device is real. Though the posts were deleted later. Mi 5S might have Camera in the middle of the backside instead of the top left corner.
Mi 5S Plus will feature a 5.7 inches 2K dual-curved display, Snapdragon 821 chipset, under glass ultrasonic fingerprint technology, 256GB internal storage, and 6GB of RAM. The device will be priced at 2999 Yuan ($450).
