Xiaomi is all set to launch the next version of their Android One smartphone “Mi A2” at an event in Madrid, Spain on July 24. The company has officially confirmed through on their Twitter handle that they will launch Mi A2 and also a low-end variant dubbed as Mi A2 Lite. Xiaomi launched Mi A2 in China as Mi 6X back in April this year.
Xiaom is teasing about their phones since three-four days and in one of their tweet, they revealed the sketch of the phones. The sketches confirm that both the phones will feature a vertical dual camera setup at the back.
Mi A2 is expected to launch with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. In terms of storage, the phone is expected to have three variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB storage. At the back, Mi A2 is likely to have 12MP+20MP dual cameras while on the front, it is expected to have a 20MP selfie shooter.
Mi A2 Lite was recently spotted on Aliexpress listing. The listing reveals that the device will feature a 5.84-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC with 3GB/4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. At the back, Mi A2 Lite is expected to have 12MP+5MP sensors while on the front, it will have a 5MP sensor to take care of the selfies.
