Xiaomi 13 Ultra officially unveiled a unique sloping back cover, round Leica quad-camera, IP68 dust, and water resistance from the pictures released by Xiaomi. The back design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is basically the same as the previously exposed appearance, with an olive green leather back cover and a slope line transition below the camera module.
In addition, the device continues the round camera module, wrapped in a gold edge, with a one-piece metal frame and a “second-generation technology nano leather” material on the back cover, supporting IP68 dust and water resistance.
In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will bring a new Leica Summicron lens, a new generation of sensors, and a large aperture covering the entire focal length from ultra-wide angle to medium and long focus, to ultra-long focus.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is equipped with a Leica quad-camera, all of which are 50-megapixel with large apertures and support features such as snapshot, night mode, and 8K video recording. The specific sensors are IMX989+IMX858+IMX858+IMX858. Among them, the main camera adopts the “Leica one-inch variable aperture”, providing two aperture sizes of f/1.9 and f/4.0.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra uses the second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, LPDDR5X memory + UFS 4.0 flash memory, and provides up to 16GB+1TB storage. It has a 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD+ display, a 5000mAh large-capacity battery, supports 90W charging power, and also provides up to 50W wireless charging support.
It is equipped with the Xiaomi Surge P2 charging chip and Xiaomi Surge G1 power management chip. It also has a self-developed dual-wing antenna group, which improves the full-frequency signal by 58%. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also comes with a self-developed ring-shaped cooling pump technology, which improves the cooling capacity by 300% compared to traditional VC and can achieve 4K 60fps continuous shooting without dropping frames.
