Recently, the WhatsApp Messenger app received a major update implementing Status disappearing feature similar to Snapchat. This new WhatsApp Status update feature replaced the older status feature which was widely used by most of the users. When the roll out of this feature started receiving the users, they headed up to social medias and begun trolling this new feature. After getting a log of negative feedback from users, WhatsApp has announced that they’ll bring the old status back.
However, it doesn’t mean that the new feature will be retrieved; instead, they both will still co-exist. The latest update is still in work and in beta phase which will be pushed out soon. The new update details are revealed by WABetaInfo, a Twitter user for all the WhatsApp leaks. There is also changes made in profile section too and the ‘info’ option is also added back to the profile.
According to WABetaInfo leak, the company will rename the old status to ‘Tagline’. Besides this, the company may push out previously rumored ‘revoke’ feature by renaming it as ‘Unsend’. This feature will help users to unsend a specific message or media file even though if it has already been delivered. The message will be erased from the recipient device and he/ she will not be able to view it.
