For the last couple of months, Vivo tried to keep its profile as low as possible. It only hinted that the company is silently cooking something big. As per industry sources, Vivo’s next model is expected on 17th November, and it will bear the X9 moniker. On 17th November, Vivo X9 is expected to share the spotlight with Vivo XPlay 6 at an event in Beijing, China.
As per a Weibo post, Vivo X9 will feature a Dual-camera setup, most probably, a Sony Exmor IMX 260 lens. It is the same lens that is found in Samsung’s Dual Pixel setups like Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge or even Galaxy Note 7!? If this is true, then Vivo X9 will come with a familiar dual pixel RGB lens of 12MP resolution.
A few days back, Qualcomm had announced a refreshed trio of chipsets which are going to be equipped with a clear Sight dual camera technology. Recently, we are getting more and more dual camera high-end handsets, and it seems that with these technological boosts we will see much more in the near future.
As per another source, Vivo X9 handset will be powered by one of the Qualcomm chipsets, Snapdragon 653 along with 4GB of RAM. The phone is expected to have an internal memory capacity of 64 GB.
However, no other specifications are out yet, so we have to wait for leaks.
