Sony has launched it’s new high-end smartphone Xperia XZ Premium in India. It is the new variant of XZ which was launched last year. Back in February, Sony officially introduced it at MWC 2017. Let’s check out the specifications of this device.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium sports a 5.5-inch 4K HDR TRILUMINOS Display with X-Reality, sRGB 138%, Dynamic Contrast Enhancer. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The back panel is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It runs on Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The internal memory is 64GB which can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD. Out of the box, it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The rear camera is 19MP which comes with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive capture, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording, 960fps slow-motion video, Anti-distortion shutter, and Triple image sensing technology. It also has a 5-axis image stabilization which helps you to capture shake-free videos. On the front, it has a 13MP snapper with 1/3″ Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens, and 1080p video recording.
Xperia XZ Premium supports Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Digital Noise Cancelling technology. The Fingerprint sensor is embedded into the front home button. The device is also dust and water resistant certified by IP65/68 rating. It has got a 3230mAh battery under the hood with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology which offers up to 60% charge in 45 minutes.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium comes with a price tag of Rs. 59,990 in India and will be officially available from 12th June. The pre-order has already started from today on all Sony Centers, selected retail outlets, and Amazon.in.
