Xiaomi is working on a new Redmi smartphone which will be powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and some flagship grade specs. The poster of this phone has been leaked recently but according to some sources, the picture was fake. It was actually a Mi 9 smartphone which comes with triple rear cameras.
Later Redmi General Manager confirms the picture was fake and also confirms that the alleged Redmi smartphone will feature Snapdragon 855 along with triple rear cameras.
Today some alleged screenshots of the upcoming Redmi flagship phone have leaked which shows some important information about the device. The device which is spotted here comes with a code name of “Raphael”. The device features 256GB onboard storage and runs on MIUI 10, version 9.4.22.
While the other screenshot shows “GPU overclocking experimental mode” means users will be able to manually tweak the GPU for more powerful graphics performance. Looking at the screenshot it seems the feature can be used very easily as it shows two simple options “Play” and “Shut down”.
Redmi Snapdragon 855 phone will feature triple cameras most likely 48MP+13MP+8MP and one of them will be ultra-wide angle lens. Earlier leaks suggest that the smartphone will have a 4,000mAh battery.
