In early 2017, Qualcomm 830 chipset is expected to release. This new chipset is expected to be more powerful than the current generation Snapdragon chipset: Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821.
A new report conveys that Snapdragon 830 chip will be integrated with a faster Quick Charge 4.0 technology. Quick Charge 4.0 charges Smartphones with 28W.
According to Fudzilla, Snapdragon 830 chipset will support 5V/4.7A~5.6A, 9V/4A configuration. INOV (Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage) technology will make sure that the chipset is able to charge large batteries efficiently.
Le Max Pro, released in January this year, was the first device to sport the first Snapdragon 820 chipset so we assume that Snapdragon 830 chipset will come around January 2017. Qualcomm released Snapdragon 820 chipset much earlier due to the problem with overheating with Snapdragon 810 chipsets. Comparatively, things are more positive now and Snapdragon 821 chipset is also fresh so Snapdragon 830 chipset might also get unveiled in late 2017.
