For those who were interested in knowing whether Samsung would be releasing a 2017 update of its Galaxy J5 budget smartphone or not, the answer is YES!
We will see Samsung releasing an upgraded version of its Galaxy J5 2016 Smartphone, as evident by its Wi-Fi alliance certification.
Nothing much can be ascertained from the above Wi-Fi alliance certification image for the Samsung Galaxy J5 2017. However, we know the model number of the device, which is SM-J530FM/DS. Apart from the model number, it is also known that the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, instead of the latest 7.0 Nougat Android version.
The first generation of the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J5 2016 edition were released back in April 2015 and June 2016 respectively. Therefore it is very logical to expect Samsung to follow a similar launch pattern for the Galaxy J5 2017 edition as well.
Stay tuned as we will keep bringing more such news about the Galaxy J5 straight to you!
