It has been conjectured for the longest time that Apple is using Samsung-made OLED displays for one of its iPhone variants, scheduled to launch this year. Now, a new report has surfaced, claiming the same.
As per a recent report in Nikkei, Apple has acquired around 70 million curved OLED panels from Samsung. Interestingly, Samsung will be only the supplier to Apple for this part of the year. The report has said that these OLED displays will be a countable feature of iPhone 8.
The iPhone 8 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch OLED Display and may get the price tag worth $1000.
On the other hand, Samsung is putting all the labor in to provide as good as 95 million panels for iPhone 8, just in case the demand for Apple’s latest shoots up.
