It is rumored that Samsung is working on two variants of the upcoming smartphone Galaxy S8. One variant will sport a curved display of 5-inch whereas another variant will sport a 6-inch AMOLED curved display. The variant with AMOLED display will be named as Galaxy S8 Plus. The Plus variant will come with almost a bezel-free design. Both the handsets will sport Samsung’s own AI assistant.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus won’t have a stylus; this indicates that there will be a new Note branded handset revealed soon. Samsung might unveil a handful of high-end devices within the first quarter of 2017 and follow it with a Note branded handset in the second half.
Samsung will use more expensive materials for Galaxy S8 so Galaxy S8 is expected to be priced 15-20% more than Galaxy S7. Galaxy S8 is expected to launch in April at an event in New York.
