Samsung has announced their two most anticipated flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and S9+ at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The new phones come with top lineup specs with the same old look.
This year Samsung hasn’t worked much on the design. It’s almost same as the previous flagship Galaxy S8. The only thing which is changed in terms of design is the placement of the fingerprint sensor. The new placement is good as it is now much easier to reach the fingerprint sensor.
The primary focus of Galaxy S9 and S9+ is its camera. The camera comes with variable aperture tech which goes from f/1.5 to f/2.4. The camera shoots at the f/1.5 aperture which helps to take brighter photos at night. At daytime, it shoots at f/2.4 for normal photos. S9+ has a secondary 12MP telephoto lens which helps to take photos with bokeh effect. The S9+ camera supports live focus for bokeh effect just like Note 8.
Samsung has implemented the 960fps super slow-mo video feature in S9+. Its Motion Detection can detect movement and automatically it can record the video.
Both the smartphones support stereo speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos. According to the Samsung, Galaxy S9 has the loudest speaker from the whole Galaxy series smartphones. Samsung has also implemented AR Emoji which is pretty similar to the Apple’s Animoji.

Samsung Galaxy S9 is priced at $719.99 while the S9+ comes with a price tag of $839.99. Both devices come in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple colors. The devices will be available from March 16, 2018. Pre-order has already started in India.
