Samsung battled a heck of a reputation crisis after reports of Note 7 battery failures. And now, in an attempt to save its face, the South-Korean giant is betting strongly on its upcoming Galaxy S8.
As per the recent flush of reports, Samsung is striving hard to put up the best show with its Samsung Galaxy S8, and it seems, the flagship will certainly settle the pending scores. The latest piece of information on the handset gives a broad insight on its design, the number of variants, features and storage capacity.
Guardian, while quoting its top sources, has revealed that Samsung Galaxy S8 will hit the outlets in two size variants, both of which will flaunt a luxury, dual-edge curved display. These handsets will also feature an iris scanner, and a bezel-less front, which has been already revealed by the case renders leak a few days back.
Besides this, the fact that peps up the story is the absence of Samsung logo on the front panel, due to the lack of space on both the top and the bottom bezels.
Also, the fingerprint scanner has been placed on the back, and the 3.5mm headset jack has been done away with, enabling users to connect analog headphones with the device. Even the camera setup is better than its predecessor S7 with superior image quality and improved performance. Hopes are high that Samsung Galaxy S8 will sport a 64GB storage, which is quite a truckload of a space to store data.
Last but not the least, reports say that Samsung Galaxy S8 will be unveiled by the end of March, which is likely to be March 29. Now we have the sale date too. The flagship might be available for purchase from April 21.
