As promised, Samsung has finally launched their latest flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and S8+ in India. Both the smartphones were unveiled last month at an event in New York.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is priced at Rs. 57,900 while the S8+ is priced at Rs. 64,900 in India. Both smartphones come in Maple Gold and Midnight Black colors. On the other hand, S8+ is also available in Coral Blue color. The devices are already up for pre-order from Flipkart and Samsung Shop. Both the smartphones will be up for sale from 5th May.
Coming to the specs, Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. While the Galaxy S8+ features 6.2-inch Quad HD+ Display and rest of the display specs are same as S8. Both devices are powered by Exynos 9 Series 8895 Octa-Core processor along with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM, and Mali-G71 MP20 GPU. Out of the box, S8 and S8+ run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Galaxy S8 and S8+ sports 12MP shooter at the back with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture and an 8MP shooter at the front with 80-degree wide-angle lens and f/1.7 aperture. Both the smartphones are dust and water resistant and have a fingerprint sensor placed just beside the rear camera panel.
Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 3000mAh battery under the hood with fast-charging support which can be charged both on Wired and Wireless mode. While the Galaxy S8+ comes with a 3500mAh battery with same specs like S8.
