The latest media reports have suggested that Samsung has sealed the design for its flagship Galaxy S8, and also developed a prototype model of its upcoming smartphone, which has been shared with the executives of the company. As to what has been circulating across various quarters, this prototype model of Galaxy S8 doesn’t have a physical home button.
If reports are to be believed, this handset would be the first-in-the-class under the aegis of Samsung to have no physical home button, which is the trademark feature of the devices made by the South Korean multinational. Since the prototype has no fingerprint sensor at the back so it is possible that the sensor will be placed on the Display.
The heat of discussion over the camera setup has leapt on quicky as the updated reports say that Samsung Galaxy S8 will not sport dual cameras. This exclusive feature will only be available for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus due to cost control. In addition to it, the reports reveal that Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.7-inch display, while the Plus variant will be replete with a 6.2-inch display.
