Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be released in February at the MWC 2017 event. Today, some interesting details of the handset have surfaced online.
Firstly, the handset will drop the 3.5mm headphone jack for a wireless future, and some additional spaces will also be freed up. Secondly, the physical home button will also be dropped. The fingerprint scanner will be replaced by an optical finger recognition system built into the display.
Thirdly, PenTile Diamond pixel arrangement (7,372,800 pixels) will be ridden out for traditional RGB color arrangement (11,059,200 pixels). This will keep the same Quad-HD resolution, but the screen will appear to be more detailed. Fourthly, there will be a USB-C port for charging and syncing support.
We hope Samsung successfully execute their plans with Galaxy S8 as the Note 7 issue made a big trust problem in the consumers’ mind and they are totally dependent on the next android device which is Galaxy S8.
