Samsung is going to launch Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 simultaneously at its official event, Samsung Unpacked 2015 in New York on 21st August. However pre orders will start from tomorrow. In this article we will discuss specifications of Galaxy S6 Edge Plus only.

The Samsung Smartphone is coming with Exynos 7420 chipset and 5.7″ dual curve display, keeping the resolution at Quad HD. The phone offers 3000 mAh battery power and runs with 4x Cortex-A53 @1.5GHz and 4x Cortex [email protected] octa core processor, Mali-T760MP8 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Display, resolution, battery, RAM, processor are improved than the previous Galaxy S6 Edge model. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop skinned with the latest Touch Wiz UI. The rear camera is of 16 MP with optical image stabilization and f/1.9 aperture while the front camera is of 5MP with f/1.9 aperture. Galaxy S6 Edge Plus supports a wide range of connectivity options including LTE Cat.9/Cat.6 Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2 with ANT+, NFC, GPS, for Samsung Pay. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus battery is capable of fast charging both on cable and wireless charger.
Though the phone allows you wireless charging, you have to buy a charger separately for that purpose. The Smartphone will be available in 32GB and 64GB internal storages while the availability of the color options will be Silver Titanium, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and White Pearl. Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is dated to be released on 21st August 2015 but pre orders will start from tomorrow.
