As promised, Samsung is ready to launch its next flagship Galaxy Note 7 on August 2. They have sent out the press invites and it confirms that Note 7 is coming with new S Pen. Samsung has also described why they have skipped the Note 6 name in Note series lineup.
“First, the Galaxy Note7 will complement our Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and unify our product portfolio. Second, the Galaxy Note7 will minimize confusion about the latest mobile technology from Samsung, and provide full alignment with Galaxy S smartphone.”

Galaxy Note 7 is likely to come with a larger 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED curved edge display. Samsung is testing both Quad-core Snapdragon 821 and Octa-Core Exynos 8 processor chipset for Galaxy Note 7 and mostly they will release it depending on regions. Under the hood, it will have whooping 6GB RAM and 3600mAh battery with fast charging support. Out of the box, it will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The upcoming Galaxy Note 7 will come with a new Stylus Pen, Iris sensor and a fingerprint sensor placed on the power button. The camera module will be just like Galaxy S7 with some improvements. The primary camera will be a 12MP shooter and the front-facing camera will be 5MP.
Galaxy Note 7 will come in three colours Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral. There’s no news on the pricing yet. We will know all the official specs and pricing on 2nd August.
