Samsung has finally announced the refurbished units of Galaxy Note 7 as Galaxy Note FE (Fan Edition) in South Korea. Galaxy Note 7 was discontinued for the battery explosion issues. The refurbished version comes with a smaller eight-point 3,200mAh battery. Extra safety measures have been taken for the battery just like Galaxy S8 series.
Rest of the specs are almost same as the previous version. The new units also come with Bixby Voice Assistant, Bixby Home and Bixby Reminder with a new interface. The device will also get the same interface like Galaxy S8 series with latest Android Nougat pre-loaded.
Galaxy Note FE will be priced at 699,600 won which is around $600. There are only 400,000 units for sale now. The device comes in Gold Platinum, Blue Coral, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx colors. Note FE will be up for sale from 7th July in Korea. Although there’s no news regarding the global roll out.
