Recently, Samsung has announced a Smartphone upgrade program for Galaxy Note 7 customers in South Korea. This upgrade came more like an offer! The offer goes like, the Note 7 customers are granted to replace their handset against a Samsung Galaxy S7 or a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
Next year, these customers will be given a chance to upgrade their handsets to Galaxy S8 or Galaxy Note 8. Of course, this up-gradation will not be offered free of cost! To qualify for the up-gradation, the Note 7 customers have to pay 50% of the price of the handset they have opted for, i.e. Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge.
No sooner than Samsung recalled Galaxy Note 7 for the second time, some rumors surfaced conveying that Samsung might kill the Note flagship. Interestingly, in the meanwhile, Samsung indirectly confirmed its next Galaxy Note series flagship bearer, Galaxy Note 8.
On the other hand, it is still gray, whether Samsung will give a similar facility beyond its home market.
