After introducing Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 earlier this month, Samsung has teased it’s new upcoming Galaxy A series smartphone Galaxy A9 (SM-A9000), the 2016 edition on weibo which reveals some specifications. Lets have a look what these are.

The Galaxy A9 (2016) will come with a 6-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display. The device will be powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 620 processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It will have a 3GB of RAM and 32GB Internal Storage which is expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. The device will run on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).
As camera options, there will be a 13MP Auto Focus rear Camera with LED flash, OIS (F1.9) and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfies.
As connectivity options there will be 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v 4.1, ANT+, NFC. The smartphone will come with a whooping 4000mAh battery under the hood with fast charging facility.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) will come in White, Gold and Pink color variants and will hit the China market on this month.
