Samsung has announced their latest “Galaxy A” series smartphones Galaxy A6 (2018) and Galaxy A6+ (2018). Let’s check out the specs of these smartphones.
Galaxy A6 (2018) Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass display. The device is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. In terms of storage and RAM, Galaxy A6 comes in two variants: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The storage can be upgraded up to 256GB using microSD card. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung’s own UI on the top of it.
Coming to the camera department, Galaxy A6 sports a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture. While on the front, it has a 16MP snapper with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.
The device sports Dual SIM slots with 4G VoLTE connectivity. Galaxy A6 also comes with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), HT40, ANT+, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, BeiDou connectivities. The smartphone sips its juice from a 3000mAh battery.
Galaxy A6+ (2018) Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A6+ comes with a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass display. The device is powered by Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506. In terms of storage and RAM, Galaxy A6+ comes in two variants: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The storage can be upgraded up to 256GB using microSD card. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung’s own UI on the top of it.
Coming to the camera segment, Galaxy A6+ features a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary rear camera with f/1.9 aperture. While on the front, it has a 24MP snapper with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash to take care of the selfies. The phone sips its juice from a 3500mAh battery.
Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ Pricing
Galaxy A6 comes with a price tag of €309 ($370) while the Galaxy A6+ pricing starts at €359 ($430). Both the devices come in Black, Gold, Blue and Lavender colors. The phones will roll out from early May.
