Samsung introduced their Galaxy A series back in 2014. Since then the company is implementing all the flagship level specs in these phones. Samsung introduced S8 duo with Infinity display earlier this year and Galaxy A series is expected to come out in early 2018. So this year it will be no exception as Samsung is going to implement their top level specs in Galaxy A series. Popular leakster @Onleaks has leaked the renders of two upcoming 2018 variants of Galaxy A smartphones which are Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018).
According to the leakster, both the devices will come with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) Infinity Displays. Galaxy A7 (2018) will come with a 6-inch Display with the body measurement of 159.6 x 75.6 x 8.2mm. While the Galaxy A5 (2018) will feature a 5.5-inch display with the body measurement of 148.8 x 70.5 x 8.4mm. The phones will sport meta and glass design, Always On Display and they will be dust and water resistant certified by IP68. Due to Infinity displays, the fingerprint sensors are now moved at the back just below the camera panel.
Both the device will come with the 3.5-mm audio jack, Samsung Pay, and USB Type-C ports. The loudspeakers are interestingly placed on the side instead of the bottom. Both Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) are expected to come with Exynos 7885 chipsets, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard storage. In some markets, Samsung will launch them with Snapdragon 660 chipsets.
These higher-midrange devices will come out in early 2018. Do you think Galaxy A (2018) series will be able to compete with flagship smartphones from Xiaomi, OnePlus?
