Samsung is very consistent with their Galaxy A series smartphones and it seems 2018 will be no exception. It’s been a few months now since we are getting leaks on Galaxy A 2018 series smartphones. Last month we have seen the renders of Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and A7 (2018). Even last week it appeared in HTML5 test listing. Now a new leak reveals that Samsung has officially listed Galaxy A5 (2018) with model number SM-A530N on their official website. Although the page doesn’t have any specs or pricing details.
So far what we have heard from past rumors, Galaxy A5 (2018) will feature 5.5-inch Full HD+ Infinity display with the resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The body measures 148.8 x 70.5 x 8.4mm. The device is expected to be powered by Exynos 7885 or Snapdragon 660 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
Galaxy A5 (2018) will feature meta and glass design, Always On Display. The device will be dust and water resistant certified by IP68. The fingerprint sensors will be placed on the back panel below the camera panel.
Samsung announced their Galaxy A (2017) series smartphone in January so we can expect this year they will announce in January.
