Last year Samsung has gone through a major drawback due to Note 7 explosion and the company had to lift all the smartphones from the market. Later the company has launched Galaxy S8 and S8+ which are a huge hit. After that, we are hearing a lot about this refurbished Galaxy Note FE (Fan Edition).
We have seen some of the leaked pictures of the device previously and later on the device was rumored to launch on June 30th. But the new report says Galaxy Note FE is all set to launch on July 7th in Korea. The delay is due to a larger supply of the units as the company has planned to start shipping with 300,000 units but later planned for 450,000 units.
Moreover, this will be the first Galaxy Note series to feature Bixby pre-installed. Both Bixby Voice and Bixby Home will be there. But for Korean units, it seems only Bixby Home feed will be available, the virtual assistant will not be included. Galaxy Note FE will be the same device as Galaxy Note 7 but the battery will be 3200mAh instead of 3500mAh of Note 7.
The device was rumored to be priced at 699,600 won ($630) but the new pricing is around 740,000 to 760,000 won ($653 to $671). It is still not clear when the devices will launch in other markets.
