Oppo’s sub-brand Realme has announced its latest top-end smartphone Realme X and a lighter version Realme X Lite. Let’s check out the specifications of the smartphones.
Specifications of Realme X
Realme X offers a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 710 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. There are three memory variants of this device, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and the top model 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. You can’t expand the memory though. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on the top of it.
The smartphone offers a dual rear camera setup at the back with a Sony IMX586 48MP main camera which comes with f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens, LED flash and AI scene recognition. For capturing depth information in portrait shots, it has a 5MP secondary rear camera. On the front, a pop-up 16MP camera is present with Sony IMX471 sensor. The company told that this elevating mechanism is tested around 200,000 times.
The smartphone comes with the 6th generation in-display fingerprint sensor. The back panel is made of a gradient glass with an S-shaped curve and under the hood, Realme X has a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Realme X Price and availability
Realme X is priced at 1499 yuan (Rs. 15,000 approx) for the 4GB RAM variant, 1599 yuan (Rs. 16,000 approx) for the 6GB RAM variant and 1799 yuan (Rs. 18,000 approx) for 8GB RAM variant. The device comes in Steam White and Punk blue color variants and will be available in China starting from May 20th. Besides these, another two Master Editions are there, Onion and Garlic White colors designed by Naoto Fukasawa.
Specifications of Realme X Lite
Realme X Lite features 6.3-inch Full HD+ display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 710 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. Here you also get three memory variants, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The memory can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD card. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on ColorOS 6.0.
Coming to the camera department; at the rear, the device has a 16MP main camera with LED flash, Sony IMX519, f/1.7 aperture, and EIS. For slow motion and depth information, it also has a secondary 5MP camera. On the front, you get a 25MP selfie camera to take care of the selfies. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back panel. Out of the box, you get a 4045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Realme X Lite Price and availability
Realme X Lite is priced at 1199 yuan (Rs. 12,000 approx) for 4GB RAM variant, 1299 yuan (Rs. 13,000 approx) for the 6GB + 64GB variant and 1499 yuan (Rs. 15,000 approx) for 6GB + 128GB variant. The device comes in Nitro Blue and Lightning Purple colors and will be available soon.
