Huawei introduced Mate 9 yesterday at an event in Germany, and along with that, they have also announced Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 limited edition. The Huawei Mate 9 limited edition comes with 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED 2.5D Curved glass display with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The device is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor with whopping 6GB of RAM and Mali G71 GPU. Out of the box, the device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat with Emotion UI 5.0.
The device comes with 256GB internal storage and can be expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD card. The device has Hybrid Dual SIM with 4G VoLTE support. Coming to the Camera features; the device is powered by Dual Rear Cameras with LEICA lenses on the rear side. The primary rear camera is a 20MP Camera with Monochrome sensor, and the secondary rear camera is 12MP with RGB sensor. Both of them comes with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, OIS, Laser AF and also supports 4K video recording. On the front, the device has an 8MP shooter with f/1.9 aperture.
Unlike Mate 9 the fingerprint sensor is not placed on the back. The Porsche Edition Mate 9 has the fingerprint built in Home button. Under the hood, the device has a 4000mAh battery with SuperCharge for fast charging. According to Huawei, the device can run up to a full day with just 20minutes of charging.
Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 limited edition is priced at €1395 ($1543 / Rs. 1,02,990 approx.) and comes in Graphite Black color. The device will be available from European Porsche Design Stores by the end of December. It will be also available from 2017 in Porsche Design Stores worldwide except U.S.
