After a long series of leaks and teasers, OPPO has finally announced its Reno series smartphones in China. The device comes in two versions: Standard Edition and 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Edition. Let’s check out the specifications of these phones.
OPPO Reno Standard Edition Specifications
OPPO Reno Standard Edition features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with the resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and 430 nits brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The standard variant houses an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 chipset with Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB/8GB of RAM with 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on the top.
OPPO Reno standard version features In-display fingerprint sensor with 3.5 mm audio jack, Hi-Res audio, and Dolby Atmos. The device also comes with Dual SIM support with Dual 4G VoLTE. To keep the device running, it has a 3765mAh battery under the hood with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Coming to the camera specs, OPPO Reno standard version features dual rear cameras which include a 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, CAF and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. On top of the device, it has a 16MP side-lifting camera to take care of the selfies. According to OPPO, the side-lifting camera can be lifted more than 200,000 times and the mechanism just takes 0.8 seconds.
OPPO Reno Standard Edition Pricing
OPPO Reno Standard Edition is priced at 2999 yuan ($446) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB variant, 3299 yuan ($491) for the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage. The premium 8GB RAM variant with 256GB storage is priced at 3599 yuan ($535). The device will go on sale in China from 16th April.

OPPO Reno 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Edition features a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with the resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The 10x zoom variant houses an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 chipset with Adreno 640 GPU, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X of RAM with 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on the top.
OPPO Reno 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Edition features In-display fingerprint sensor with 3.5 mm audio jack, triple microphones, Hi-Res audio, and Dolby Atmos. The device also comes with Dual SIM support with Dual 4G VoLTE. To keep the device running, it has a 4065mAh battery under the hood with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Coming to the camera specs, OPPO Reno 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Edition features dual rear cameras which include a 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF and a 13MP periscope telephoto lens with f/3.0 aperture, an 8MP 120° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture. On top of the device, it has a 16MP side-lifting camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture to take care of the selfies. OPPO Reno 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Edition is priced at 3999 yuan ($595) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB variant, 4499 yuan ($669) for the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage. The premium 8GB RAM variant with 256GB storage is priced at 4799 yuan ($714). The device will go on sale in China from mid-May.
