OPPO F5, company’s latest selfie-focused mid-range smartphone is unveiled through a launch event held in the Philippines. Let’s check out the specifications of this device.
OPPO F5 Specifications
OPPO F5 offers a 6-inch FHD+ full-screen 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The handset comes with unibody metal design and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Octa-Core 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor along with Mali G71 MP2 GPU.
In terms of RAM and storage, OPPO F5 comes in two variants; 4GB RAM with 32GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage. The memory can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. Out of the box, the handset runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 on top of it.
On the front, it has a 20MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and A.I. beauty recognition technology which can recognize the spots in the face to beautify the selfie shot perfectly and also offers bokeh mode. At the back, there’s a 16MP camera which comes with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture.
The fingerprint sensor is moved at the back and apart from this it also features a face unlocking feature to unlock the phone quickly. The device offers Dual SIM functionality with 4G VoLTE connectivity and “O-share file” to share files 100 times faster than Bluetooth. To keep the phone alive it has a 3200mAh built-in battery.
OPPO F5 Pricing and Availability
OPPO F5 comes with a price tag of 15990 Philippine Peso ($307 / Rs. 19,985 approx.) in Philippine for 4GB variant and the sale will start from November 4th. Though the pre-order has already been started and will end on 3rd November. In India, OPPO F5 will launch on 2nd November, confirmed by the company.
