OnePlus has announced their latest flagship OnePlus 6 at an event in India, as promised. Let’s check out the specifications of this device.
OnePlus 6 Specifications
OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2280×1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and 84% screen-to-body ratio. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and it also has a notch on the top.
OnePlus 6 is powered by 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. The device comes in two variants in terms of storage and RAM: 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB of storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 1258GB / 256GB of storage. Out of the box, OnePlus 6 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1 on the top. The company has also promised to roll out Android P beta update starting this week.
Coming to the camera section, OnePlus 6 sports dual cameras at the back. The 16MP Sony IMX519 primary rear camera comes with dual LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and EIS. While the 20MP Sony IMX376K secondary rear camera which comes with 2x zoom, f/1.7 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size. The rear cameras can take videos up to 480 fps slo-mo @ 720p, 240 fps @ 1080p, and 4k @ 60 fps. On the front, the device has a 16MP Sony IMX 371 snapper with f/2.0 aperture to take care of the selfies.
OnePlus 6 comes with Dual SIM slots with no external storage support. The device retains the alert slider and now it is placed on the right side. The oval-shaped fingerprint sensor is placed at the back below the dual camera setup. It also offers face unlock feature which can unlock the phone within 0.4 seconds. The device is also water resistant and has the 3.5mm audio jack which is a great news for all the OnePlus and music fans. Last but not least, OnePlus 6 sips its juice from a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge support for fast charging.

OnePlus 6 comes in Mirror Black, Midnight Black (8GB variant), and Limited-edition Silk White (8GB variant) color variants. The 6GB RAM variant costs Rs. 34,999 while the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB of storage costs Rs. 39,999.
OnePlus 6 will be up for sale on Amazon.in from 21st May for the Prime users. From May 22nd the device will be available to buy for everyone.
