This year OnePlus will launch OnePlus 5 instead of OnePlus 4 because “4” is an ominous number in China. So far there were not many leaks on this device but today we have got two renders which say a lot about the upcoming flagship.
Looking at the images we can see OnePlus will stick to the Matte Black finish for the rear panel. The Matte Black variant was introduced in 3T last month. Anyway, it seems body of the device will be made out of metal. The antennas are rarely visible in this device but we can see a narrow antenna line downwards at the back panel which confirms it will use metal.
There’s a Dual rear camera setup at the back with LED Flash but no fingerprint sensor so it will be integrated on the front, either on Home button or under the display.
So far what we heard about this device, OnePlus 5 will integrate 5.5-inch QHD Display with Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB/8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The front-facing camera is going to be the same 16MP shooter of OnePlus 3T. The device is expected to be 7mm thin and come up with a 3,000 mAh battery to power up the device.
