Yesterday, we got to know the Indian availability date of the highly-anticipated OnePlus 5. As OnePlus announced that it will hold an Indian launch on June 22. Now we have better news.
The OnePlus 5 will not only be launched in India on June 22 but it will be up for sale as well. Amazon India has confirmed that the device will be up for grabs starting 4:30 PM. Prior to the sale, an official launch event will be held at 2 PM.
Amazon has also put up a landing page exclusively for the OnePlus 5. And following some code-digging of the page, popular leakster Evan Blass says, the device will house a whopping 8GB of RAM similar to the ZTE Nubia Z17. We already know the device will carry the Snapdragon 835 SoC but 8GB of RAM is massive. Having said that, a 6GB model is expected as well.
Recent leaks have pointed out to the OnePlus design bearing an uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 7 and a similar horizontal dual camera setup at the back. Stay tuned as the OnePlus 5 is only going to get hotter in the coming days.
