OnePlus 5 is coming and we already know about it as the official teaser confirmed the device name. Since the start, OnePlus follows a strategy of teasing their top specs weekly so that they can create a buzz around us and they are good at it. The OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau has confirmed on the official OnePlus forum that the upcoming flagship is coming with latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. Later on, Qualcomm has also confirmed it by posting the same on Facebook.
Since the leaks are coming we have heard that it will feature Snapdragon 835 SoC and all those rumors were true. OnePlus has a track record of featuring the latest and best Snapdragon chipset available for their flagship phones. The CEO also says that the company is focusing on the overall feeling of smoothness and the touch latency on OnePlus 5. The Oxygen OS in the device will automatically prioritize the apps you use most and the apps you hardly use will be deprioritized so that they don’t affect the performance.
