Recently, OnePlus has upgraded OnePlus 3 to OnePlus 3T. Now, it seems that the company has some plans for its successor, OnePlus 5. OnePlus 5 is expected to come in 2017.
However, this means that OnePlus 4 moniker will be skipped altogether. The number ‘4’ is considered as an unlucky number in China, so we believe the company might skip the OnePlus 4 moniker.
The handset is expected to come with a ceramic housing manufactured by the same company who has manufactured the shell of Xiaomi Mi MIX. A point to note that OnePlus is not a complete stranger to ceramic build. Last year, OnePlus X came with zirconia ceramic finish in the limited edition version.
OnePlus 5 is expected to come in a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset, and it will run with 6 GB of RAM.
