Nubia surprised smartphone fans with their true bezel-less smartphone nubia X which was launched on October 31 in China. The company has decided to remove the front camera in order to make it a bezel-less. There’s another catch though. A secondary screen is placed at the back of the phone which can be used to take selfies using dual rear cameras.
Anyway, the phone was up for grab today in China at 10 AM and the company sold 1 million units in just 57 seconds. This is a really impressive record for nubia. The company has managed to sell the entire first batch of nubia X. Nubia has scheduled their next sale on November 11 which is known as Global Shopping Festival Day in China.
nubia X is priced at 3299 yuan for the 6/64GB ($473) model while the 8/128GB model costs 3699 yuan ($530). The premium variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 4199 yuan ($602).
Coming to the specs, nubia X features 6.26-inch FHD+ In-Cell 2.5D curved glass display with 19:9 aspect ratio on the front. At the back, the device has a 5.1-inch 19:9 AMOLED 2.5D curved glass secondary display. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU, 6/8GB RAM, and 64/128/256GB storage. Out of the box, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with nubia UI 6.0 on the top. At the back, there are 16MP+24MP dual rear cameras to take the selfies as well as normal pictures. Under the hood, the device houses a 3000mAh battery Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
