Nubia has announced their first gaming smartphone Red Magic in China. Let’s check out the specs of this device.
Nubia Red Magic Specifications
Nubia Red Magic comes with a 6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio and 85% NTSC color gamut. The device is powered by 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. The edgy design of the device is inspired by a battleship. It has three vents for air cooling and also configurable LED strips at the back to give a more gaming feel. It also has graphite layers for controlling the heat while heavy gaming.
Nubia Red Magic also has a game button at the back which activates the gaming mode and also controls other services like blocking SMS, calls, notifications, limiting background network etc.
The device comes in two variants: 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Out of the box, Red Magic runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Nubia Red Magic OS on the top.
Coming to the camera section, Red Magic features a 24MP camera at the back with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.7 aperture. While on the front, it has an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Red Magic comes with Dual SIM support. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack and TAS2555 Amplifier, DTS audio for immersive audio experience while gaming. Nubia has optimized 128 games for this device which will load faster and will have a smooth gaming experience. The device sips its power from a 3800mAh battery which supports fast charging.
Nubia Red Magic comes with a price tag of 2499 yuan ($398) for the 6GB RAM variant while the 8GB variant costs 2999 yuan ($477). The device will be up for sale in China from 25th April.
