Apple has launched its mobile wallet service, Apple Pay for its customers in Spain. The Apple users who have their accounts on Banco de Santander and American Express can add their credit and debit cards to their Apple wallets. And later, they’ll be able to engage in contactless transactions while shopping across the country. The Apple’s mobile wallet service also supports Carrefour’s PASS system for contactless transactions and can be used with Edenred vouchers.
Right now, most of the stores in Spain have terminals supporting for contactless transactions. That means it will surely boost the usage of Apple Pay among the iOS users in the country. The Apple’s mobile wallet service works with the iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and all later models. Additionally, it also works on the iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 3 and later, including the Apple Watch.
Right now, the Apple users from 13 countries will be able to make a contactless transaction using their Apple wallets till their bank supports. Apple Pay is now available following such as the US, UK, China, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, and Spain.
