Previously, HMD Global has already assured that it will regularly roll out monthly security patches including a new update to all of its phones. Similarly, it has now started pushing out a new update to its Nokia 6 smartphones. The latest update carries a build number of 00CN_3_170 and weighs around 370MB. The new update brings April security patch for the device and also upgrades it to Android Nougat 7.1.1.
Besides that, it also includes few other changes such as improvements related to power saving and background management as well. Additionally, it also adds support for 4G/3G dual sim dual standby. Lastly, it also upgrades Nokia USB drivers including the version of all of its preinstalled application as well.
