Nintendo, in a big announcement, has revealed the pricing and the availability of its Switch Game Console, which was introduced in October last year. It will be launched on March 3 this year, carrying a price tag of $299.99.
Elaborating about the new gaming console by Nintendo, we would like to tell that it features custom Tegra processor, and sports a detachable, one-handed controllers and a Switch Dock that lets users to connect it to the TV. The twin JoyCon controllers have an infrastructure, comprising motion sensors and force feedback systems. One of the controllers has a screenshot button that enables users to create photos of what’s appearing on the screen and upload them on the social media. Further, there is an IR camera to grasp users’ movements when accessing to the gaming console.
The display is 6.2-inch and is multi-touch capacitive with the resolution of 1280*720 pixels. It is equipped with an internal storage of 32GB, and also has a slot for microSDXC card. The users can also adjust the brightness levels using the customized ambient light sensors. A masterstroke of sorts is the gaming console’s capability of linking 8 systems simultaneously to let the users play anywhere online with other Nintendo Switch gamers.
Nintendo’s new gaming console offers joyful treats of games like Super Mario Odyssey (scheduled to get available during 2017 holiday season), Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (due for a release on March 3), Switch (launching on March 3) and Splatoon 2 (available during the summers of 2017).
However, nothing definite can be said about the battery capacity, but Nintendo has ensured a run-time of up to 6 hours, which may differ according to usage and software parameters.
Nintendo’s new gaming console is scheduled to make inroads into Japan, US, Canada and other European countries from March 3 this year. It is priced at $299.99 (Rs. 20,465 roughly).
