Vivo X9 was set to launch on 17th November, but the company has revealed a new official promotional poster which reveals that the device is going to release on 16th November. In its official Weibo account, Vivo has confirmed that the devices will be officially launched on 16th November at an event in Beijing. There might be immense pressure for the company due to alternate brand handset releases such as Huawei Mate 9 and Xiaomi Mi Mix.
However, the promotional images of Vivo X9 do not convey any specifications of the handset. From the images, we can only tell that the handset will have a sleek iPhone like the design and a near bezel-less display.
Considering previous leaks and teasers, Vivo X9 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and Adreno 510 GPU. The phone will run in 4GB / 6GB of RAM offering 64GB internal storage. As far as the camera is concerned, there will be a 16MP rear camera and 20MP+8MP dual front camera set up. The handset will run on Android 6.0.1.
Vivo X9 is expected to be released alongside Vivo X9 Plus in the upcoming 16th November Vivo event.
