Motorola phones have been leaking for a while but it seems the company had held a private event recently which gives us an idea on the upcoming phones from Motorola in 2017. An image was leaked by a leakster Evan Blass via Twitter which reveals the line-up of the 2017 Motorola smartphones – Z, X, g, e, and c.
The picture reveals the brief description of the phones we could expect in 2017. It starts from the top end ‘Z’ series phone and comes down to the entry level ‘c’ series phone.
Let’s start with ‘Z’ series phone. The tagline given is “Unlimited capabilities”. The series has two phones- Z play and Z force. Z play will come with 5.5-inch Full HD screen and will be supporting Moto Mods. The latter Z force will also feature 1Gb LTE and Shatter-Shield apart from the Z play features.
Now coming to ‘X’ series phones, it is tagged as “Unlimited Perfection” and will come with 5.2-inch Full HD screen. Other features will include 3D glass and SmartCam. It will probably be called as Moto X4.
Now ‘g’ series phones will have two variants- gS and gS+. Tagged as “Unlimited premium”, gS will feature 5.2-inch Full HD screen and metal body. Whereas the other variant gS+ will feature 5.5-inch Full HD screen with dual camera setup.
The ‘e’ series phones will consist of ‘e’ and ‘e plus’. The former will have 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D curved glass and fingerprint sensor. And the latter will feature 5.5-inch HD screen with the much bigger battery of 5000mAh. Tagline says “Unlimited value”.
Finally, the entry level ‘c’ series of Motorola, tagged as “Unlimited Essentials”, will also come in 2 variants- ‘c’ and ‘c plus’. Both will come with a 5-inch screen but one with 480p resolution while the other with 720p resolution. The picture also reveals that c plus will be powered by 4,000 mAh.
