Motorola has announced Moto Z3 Play, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Moto Z series. The phone comes with Moto mods. Both front and the back side of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Let’s check out the other specs of the Moto Z3 Play below.
Moto Z3 Play Specifications
Moto Z3 Play features a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB RAM. The storage options include 32GB or 64GB storage and also expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
The handset has 12MP+5MP dual rear camera setup at the back with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, and 1.4um pixel size. The secondary rear camera comes with depth-sensing AI features, Google Lens support. The phone has an 8MP camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture.
It is a Dual SIM smartphone providing support to connectivities like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The phone has a front ported loudspeaker, four far-field mic system but it lacks 3.5mm audio jack. Moto Z3 Play runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and packs a 3000mAh battery which supports Turbocharging.
Moto Z3 Play comes with Water repellent nano-coating and it is Splash-resistant (p2i), so it can overcome accidental spill or splashes. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports Moto Display, Moto Actions and other sets of Moto features. The device also has gesture-based One Button Nav bar at the bottom.
Moto Z3 Play Pricing and Availability:
The phone arrives in Deep Indigo color with a price tag of R$ 2,299 ($601) and will be globally available starting this month in Brazil. The handset will arrive in the U.S. by this summer at U.S. Cellular and Sprint as well as unlocked. Similarly, it will come in Canada at the same time at Bell Mobility, Virgin Mobile, MTS, and so on.
