When we were all busy to see Xiaomi Mi MIX‘s design, just then another smartphone with Bezel-less display surfaced last week. The bezel-less smartphone was from Xiaomi’s competitor Meizu. Now it is rumored that Meizu’s mysterious smartphone might be Pro 7. 2016 didn’t go well for Meizu because of the fight with Qualcomm. Now they want to back themselves with something really innovative.
If Meizu Pro 7 comes true, then this will be the first smartphone to have a full Bezel-less Display. Xiaomi Mi MIX was having the lower panel for Front camera, so they were not able to go for a full Bezel-less display. Because of having a full bezel-less display there will be no space for front-camera, but they came up with a solution. They front-camera will sit on the back and can be slid out from the top.
From the renders, we have got, Meizu Pro 7 will have a 5.62-inch Super AMOLED Display with 1080 x 2160 resolution. The device will come in two variants 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. The 6GB RAM+64GB ROM will be priced at ¥2699 ($395) and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM will be priced at ¥3099 ($455). There will be a 8MP front-facing camera on the top and a rear camera with LED Flash.
Meizu Pro 7 might feature Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint technology and along with that there will be a 3000mAh battery under the hood. The device will run on Flyme OS 5.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Meizu will integrate their new fast charging technology mCharge 4.0 which will charge the device from 0% to 100% within 40minutes. The device’s thickness is 6.5mm and might go for 100% screen-to-body ratio.
Meizu Pro 7 might launch on 24th December and will go on sale in 2017.
